Description
Well, since the Shelly version at [link] is more popular than I would have thought... Here's my second 'Human and HTF' piece, this time featuring my own Bruno the Fox. Again, this is just my interpretation of his looks and personality-- it's nothing more than a fun experiment, and you're all free to have your own views.
So here's Bruno happy as ever, having a ball with his human counterpart. Despite my European roots, I imagine him to be a typical American sub-urb child (hence the colours and setting), running around on the street playing energetic games; "Bruno's at it again" would be a commonly-heard sentence from behind neighbouring windows. I gave the child safe shoes: he'd most likely trip over his shoelaces otherwise. (The freckles and big teeth/ears should also add to his childlike appearance.) This guy might develop into a paperboy in a few years when he's stressed to make his own money, although I think Bruno would prefer to remain a child for eternity. Innocent, playful and full of energy, but somewhat clumsy-- that's Bruno in a nutshell.
Drawing boys is challenging... Without sounding too creepy (hopefully), I think male forms lack a certain elegance, which makes playing with proportions much harder. I admit the sizes and positioning aren't perfect, but that's just too bad. Frankly, I didn't feel like hesitating as badly as I did with Shelly; since it's my own character, I guess there's just less pressure.
Who will be next? Will there even BE a next one? Come on, you know me by now: expect nothing, and any surprise will be a good one.

I wonder what my OC would look like in this style. :3
